Community: How to Be Part of It

Becoming a member of the Sustentu Wine Club is designed to be as exclusive and seamless as the wines we curate. Because we focus on limited-production, high-quality labels, we manage our membership through a structured enrollment system.

Here is everything you need to know about joining our community.

Frequently Asked Question

What is the Sustentu Wine Club?

Sustentu Wine Club is a curated wine membership designed for people who want access to unique, high-quality wines with a strong focus on character, origin, and discovery. Each selection is chosen to offer something you’re unlikely to find easily elsewhere.

1. How do I join the Sustentu Wine Club?

To join, you must sign up during our monthly Open Enrollment Window. Outside of these dates, you can join our Waiting List to be notified the moment a spot becomes available.

How does the membership work?

Members receive a curated wine selection (often as a “mystery box”) on a recurring basis. Each release is thoughtfully assembled and only available during a limited ordering window.

2. When is the Enrollment Window?

Our doors open from the 20th of the previous month to the 5th of the current month (e.g., January 20th to February 5th). This strict window allows us to ensure logistics and quality control are perfect for every shipment.

3. Why is there a limit on memberships?

We prioritise quality over quantity. Many of the wines we feature, some wines are produced in small batches. Limiting our member base ensures that every person in the club receives these rare gems without compromise.

4. Is there a membership fee?

There is no “entry fee” to join. Your membership is sustained by your monthly box subscription. You only pay for the curated selection of wines delivered to your door.

5. Can I skip a month or cancel?

Yes. You have full control through your member portal. However, please note that cancellations or “pauses” must be requested at least 5 business days before the window opens (by the 15th of the month) to avoid being charged for the upcoming cycle.

6. What makes Sustentu wines different?

Our curation process is rigorous. We participate in global events like the International Wine Challenge (IWC) to benchmark our selections. We focus on sustainability, volcanic soils, ancient grapes, and winemakers who respect the land, small producers as well as big names.

7. How do I know if I’m off the waiting list?

When a spot opens up, we send an invite to the next person on the list via email. You will have 15 days to complete your enrollment before the spot is offered to the next wine lover in line.

Can I buy wines individually outside the club?

Wines will be available privately to members, and wines will stay in a private shop for members where you can buy till the last 4 months. Then the wines are refreshed with new ones FIFO (first in, first out).

Is this suitable for beginners or only wine enthusiasts?

Both. If you’re newer, it’s a guided way to explore better wines. If you’re experienced, it’s a way to access bottles that aren’t obvious or widely available.

Where do you deliver?

Delivery options depend on your location. Full details are provided during checkout.
